Thanks for the input, and for pointing out the steals stat. I agree Kidd has a plethora of options like never before. With aggressive slasher wing types like Marion and Butler, to outside shooters like Kidd himself, Nowitzki Butler, and Terry, there are many options to exploit other teams defenses.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Last night’s game had a playoff atmosphere and the Mavs were playing without Caron Butler.

Kidd has an arsenal at his disposal which is all he needs to orchestrate a finely tuned offense which the Mavericks are starting to shape into.

One stat that is also mind boggling which was omitted is the fact that Kidd, at almost 37, is tied for 3rd in the league in steals at 1.9 per game which shows that he is also a catalyst on defense which is the main reason for Dallas’recent success.

To all the haters out there who say Kidd has lost a step or that he shouldn’t be running a Championship caliber team at his age, etc., I say, where would the Mavericks be without him?
