Dennis Rodman, if looked at strictly through goggles preventative of allowing any off court antics/behavior, is the best rebounder the game has ever seen.

He is entering the Hall of Fame and deserves all the credit in the world.

Sure he is colorful, and many dislike him. Regardless of this, I have yet to see anyone else sacrifice his body and fly parallel to the ground in order to save a loose ball. He is the embodiment of the word hustle.

Speaking of colorful, after making an agreement to keep it under control during his enshrinement speech, the Hall of Fame agreed to put his wardrobe on display as well. Creepy…

People don’t realize he was actually not a bad offensive player. He just chose to sacrifice those numbers and not even try in order to appease his teammates. He learned from the great Chuck Daly that if you keep the team happy, and play your role better than anyone else, you will become champions.

Congrats Worm, you deserve this amazing honor.

Today Dwayne Wade dropped in his 10,000 career point against the Chicago Bulls. The Heat sweetened the deal on point number 10,000 by beating Chicago 95-87.

Wade's 10,000 was not flashy, but it got the job done.

With 1:32 remaining in the 3rd quarter Wade was hacked by Jannero Pargo while trying to back his way into the post. The Bulls were already over the foul limit, so Wade was awarded 2 foul shots.

Although it is not typical to Wade’s normally spectacular fashion, Wade did makes things interesting by missing the first free throw. He then dropped in his second shot to become the first player in Miami Heat history to score 10,000 points.

This must be bittersweet for Miami Heat fans as the odds of Wade remaining in a Heat uniform when he scores his 15,000th point will likely be for a different team.

It seems unlikely he will remain in Miami for another season.

Wade has scored 10005 points over the span of 397 regular season games.

He is entering his 7th NBA season, and likely would have surpassed this number long ago had he not incurred a bad streak of injuries.
