One Man’s Twitter, Another Man’s Shame: Kevin Love vs. LeBron James
You just have to love Kevin Love. He tweeted about Kevin McHale not returning as coach before the team could make the announcement publicly.
Love delivers his twitter followers valuable, useful, fresh information.
His tweets, after being dunked on by Josh Smith during team USA workouts, display a side of him that LeBron James needs to learn from.
Love laughs about Josh Smith’s dunk, taking the fact that he got dipped on in stride. He even lets us know that other dunks were far worse than his, but does not mention names. What a stand up individual. He takes the hit, and sells no one else out.
Here it is, in case you missed it.
This is the dunk leading to the following tweets:
In making light of the dunk, we all get a kick out of it, and move on.
Meanwhile, LeBron and his handlers made some sort of conspiracy out of being dunked on whilst the dunk he was a recipient of was far less titillating. They confiscate the tapes, and “Dunkgate” is born. It would be very surprising if this whole thing is not somehow incorporated into a Nike ad campaign to sell some more LeBron sneakers this year.
All Applause goes to Kevin Love for sharing and joking with all his followers that he was dunked on.
LeBron, 4 years Love’s senior, going into his 7th NBA campaign, should clearly know better. He should be ashamed that a second-year pro is schooling him in how to handle a simple situation.
Love surpasses LeBron with his class, humility, and acceptance.
I am would bet the house Kevin Love would also shake every player’s hand on the opposing team if defeated in the Conference Finals. Or in any other game for that matter. Call it a crazy guess, but something tells me he would.
Maybe LeBron needs to enter the “Dunk Protection Program.”
